"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville is under fire for making a joke about child molestation during her podcast.
On Tuesday (Jan. 14), the reality star was speaking with comedians Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine for her show, "Brandi Glanville Unfiltered." Florentine has previously discussed the widespread child molestation that occurred at his church when he was a boy, according to RadarOnline.com, but said he was spared the abuse.
Glanville apparently used that information to make a tasteless joke about child molestation.
"I was actually stalking you online, Jim, and we have something in common," she said. "I, too, wanted to be molested as a child and was passed up ... Well I was in Lutheran school ... My sister got felt up by my principal. Nothing for me. He didn't even look at me sideways ... I mean, now, looking back I'm super bummed. I was thinking, like, 'All this and nothing?' Super hot and they passed me up."
The Rape Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN) released a statement about Glanville's comments, asserting that molestation should not be used for laughs.
"As any good parent would know, sexual abuse of children is nothing to laugh about," RAINN spokesperson Katherine Hull told FOX411. "Sexual abuse should never be fodder for comedy."
The 41-year-old mother of two later tweeted an apology.
This is the second time in recent weeks that Glanville has made headlines for an inappropriate comment. On the Dec. 9 episode of "RHOBH," Glanville joked that co-star and former Miss Puerto Rico Joyce Giraud couldn't swim because "[she is] black." She attempted to defend herself, saying, "It was a joke and my black friends would've laughed crazy, 'cause they don't go in the pool because they will get their weave f--ked up."
She was later let go from a hosting gig at a Florida casino as a result of the racist remark.
