The annual shopping extravaganza arrives again on Dec. 26, with plenty of deals on electronics and other products for those seeking a little more than what they found under the tree.
Boxing Day in Canada has started to see some competition from Black Friday.
But a study by Colliers International this year found that shoppers are better served by waiting until the day after Christmas.
The commercial real estate company looked at 44 separate products being advertised by nine Canadian retailers last year to see whether deals were better on Black Friday or Boxing Day.
Colliers found 36 per cent of products had more desirable prices on Dec. 26. Black Friday only offered the better deal on 16 per cent of them.
Those looking for a deal in 2015 don't have to wait long — some retailers have already have their sales on, while others will start theirs on Christmas Eve.
Here are some places where you can find deals on Boxing Day:
Best Buy — Boxing Week deals go live online at 7 p.m. ET on Christmas Eve. In-store sales start at 6 a.m. local time on Boxing Day
Walmart — Boxing Week deals go live online at noon ET on Christmas Eve. In-store sales start on Boxing Day.
Real Canadian Superstore — Boxing Week sales start in store at 6 a.m. local time on Dec. 26 and run until Dec. 29.
NCIX — Boxing Week sale begins at 7:30 p.m. ET on Christmas Eve and runs until Dec. 30.
Costco — Boxing Day deals are already in effect.
Sport Chek — Boxing Day deals began on Dec. 19, taking 20 to 60 per cent of original ticket prices off numerous items.
