"Better Call Saul" (AMC)
This "Breaking Bad" spinoff recounts the story of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), one of Albuquerque's shadiest lawyers, before he became Saul Goodman and took on the ultimate client in Walter White (Bryan Cranston). The show's first season had some of the best ratings in the history of cable television, Variety reported.

"The Blacklist" (NBC)
"The Blacklist's" midseason finale saw intelligent criminal "Red" Reddington (James Spader) kidnapped by highway robbers, leaving FBI profiler Liz Keen (Megan Boone) to make an important trade to save him. But Liz has her own problems: she's facing trial for the murder of the U.S. attorney general ... and she's also being targeted by a mysterious organization known as the Cabal.
